UC Irvine Scholarships
The UC Irvine scholarships are awarded to students who have maintained a high level of academic performance. The Scholarships are also awarded based on financial need, and some on specific criteria such as high school attended, special skills or abilities.
Academics, financial need, leadership positions, campus or community activities, and work experience are all taken into consideration during the screening process for the scholarship recipient. The scholarship program is designed to reward, encourage, and assist students in maintan9ing academic excellence and leadership roles.
Continuing UCI students should also contact their college/major departments for scholarships that are available to them from sources outside of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. UCI’s Scholarship Opportunities Program can also provide information about significant external scholarships and fellowships, along with counseling on how to apply and attain the awards.
